Your role

You join Group Finance at our Munich headquarters and build our group treasury function. Your first priorities: a global cash pool, fewer bank accounts and the right core banking partners. You report to the VP Finance Europe.

What you will do

  • Design and implement a global cash pooling structure across our entities in Europe and the Americas
  • Streamline our bank account landscape and reduce the number of accounts and banks
  • Lead the selection of our global core banking partners and manage the relationships
  • Own the group cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning
  • Drive working capital improvements with the business: receivables, payables and cash conversion
  • Manage daily cash positioning, payments, FX exposure and intercompany funding
  • Support financing matters, covenant reporting and lender communication
  • Set up treasury policies, controls and scalable processes, including bank mandates and signatories

What you bring

  • Degree in finance, business administration, economics or a related field
  • 5+ years in treasury, ideally in a mid-sized company (Mittelstand) or PE-backed environment
  • Hands-on experience implementing cash pooling and rationalising bank accounts
  • Strong cash flow forecasting and working capital know-how
  • Very hands-on: you build from scratch, improve what exists and get things done
  • Advanced Excel; experience with a treasury management system or banking platforms is a plus
  • Fluent English and German
