The GDP certification, a globally recognized benchmark of logistics standards, confirms that Life Couriers Radiopharma GmbH, which operates from our location in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, meets the highest level for the proper distribution of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products.

Awarded to the team by DQS, this recognition stands alongside the organization’s ISO 9001 status, signposting our dedication to safe and compliant logistics practices.

The GDP certification is designed to set the standard for the quality and integrity of medicines throughout the supply chain. This encompasses standards for sourcing, handling, storage, and transportation of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products and their active ingredients.

For the transport of radiopharmaceuticals, safe and efficient handling is of paramount importance. Since any delays to the transport of these life-saving products could prevent treatment or diagnosis for the patient or nullify the effectiveness of the isotopes being delivered. Therefore, compliance with the practices outline by the GDP certificate is essential for maintaining the safety and effectiveness of these vital products.

In line with the updated QMS, a robust staff training programme was also introduced to ensure faster, safer, and more compliant deliveries. Because we understand the time and safety-critical nature of radiopharma deliveries, our teams were uniquely placed to adapt to these changes and to execute the handling of radiopharmaceuticals in a safe and efficient manner.

To reduce environmental impact and increase efficiency, a digital system was also implemented by the team, allowing for greater transparency across our operations and enhancing accountability for the safe handling of these materials.
